🦉Music Legend Coming to Lafayette

Good Morning, Lafayette.

Last week there was a poll asking what events you all might be interested in. The options were a book swap, puzzle swap, social studies (lecture), or a local hike. Each of them received votes, but the two most popular were book swap and local hike.

So, I am going to work to put together a book swap first (details to come) and then a local hike when this weather will cooperate. Be on the lookout in future editions for more info.

I have never not left this place embarrassingly full😂 I’ve been to both locations, and both have a great atmosphere and great service. Nice spot for a date night.

When you go, you have to get the chips and salsa trio for starters. After that, load up on tacos or just grab a burrito. You really can’t go wrong here.

Meet Chuck

Chuck is a 5 year old, 45 pound bundle of energy who has been with HS4GL since October 15th, 2025. This playful guy lives for fun, but he also loves to kick back and soak up the sunshine.

He has energy for days and would thrive with an active adopter who’s excited to get outside, play, and keep him moving. Chuck is happiest when he’s burning off that energy and then relaxing in a nice, sunny spot. If you’re looking for a fun-loving dog who’s always ready for the next adventure, Chuck might just be your guy!
