In This Week’s Edition
Happy Friday, Lafayette!
Hope you had a Merry Christmas and have been enjoying time with family and friends🎄
With it being the holidays, things have slowed down around the city. That said, this week’s edition will feature:
One thing to leave the house for
One local restaurant worth trying
Purdue sports updates
One piece of important local news to know
This week’s weather outlook
One event worth going to
Let’s get into it.
1️⃣ One Thing to Leave the House For
Day After Christmas Walk 2025
Where? 1030 N Washington Street. Meet at the Interpretive Center
When? December 26 from 1 pm to 3 pm
What? Free, narrated walk around the historical trails of Delphi. You will be led by expert guides who will tell you all about the history that lives by the canal in Delphi (Kid friendly)
*Keep an eye out on the weather. There is a chance of rain as of today.
1️⃣ One Restaurant to Try
Ripple & Company (Downtown Lafayette)
A local favorite for elevated comfort food, great cocktails, and a cozy atmosphere. Great spot for date night or a relaxed dinner out before the New Year.
My current go-to is the Roadhouse and a Triple XXX Root Beer
👨👩👧 Kid-friendly earlier in the evening
💡 Tip: Check holiday hours before heading out.
Local Sports
Kent State vs 5 Purdue
12/29 | 7 pm tip-off (Game is on B1G+)
Would you like me to add local high school sports schedules here?
