Banh Mi Eatery

If you find yourself going to the same places over and over and are looking to change things up, here is your sign🪧

The staple food here is the sandwich but beyond the sandwiches, the menu includes pho, spring rolls, rice bowls, and Vietnamese coffee. Vegetarians and vegans, take note, their crispy tofu options get great reviews.

Open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 AM to 8 PM. They've got free wifi, so it's a great spot to grab lunch and get some work done. Or just swing by, grab a sandwich to go, and support a local business that's adding real flavor to our community.

Creasy Lane Project

Major changes are coming to one of Lafayette’s busiest corridors. At last week’s Board of Public Works meeting, City Engineer Jeremy Grenard announced plans to mill and resurface Creasy Lane from Sagamore Parkway to Greenbush Street. The project will also reconfigure the road to maintain five lanes throughout its entire length, eliminating the frustrating transitions between four and five lanes that drivers currently navigate.

Beyond smoother pavement, the project includes critical upgrades to pedestrian infrastructure to meet ADA standards, plus spot replacement of deteriorating curbs and sidewalks. Funding comes from a Community Crossing Matching Grant, a state program that helps local governments improve roads and bridges.

Bids open February 10th, meaning construction could begin this spring. If you drive Creasy Lane daily, expect temporary traffic disruptions ahead. All in all, you will have a much improved commute when it’s done.

Treehouse x Library

Check out this custom-built, West Lafayette home on 5 acres. What’s cool about it is you can pretend you're living in a national park, except you're literally 10 minutes from Target.

This bad boy comes with geothermal heating, a greenhouse with a fancy thermal mass wall (don't ask me, I just work here), and one of those cool bookshelf ladders.

The property includes "beautifully designed trails, walkways, and a charming bridge" that meander through the woods. Translation: the previous owner really committed to never having to see their neighbors again.

Listed at $649,000. One owner. Probably because once you move in here, you literally never want to leave.
