Nine Irish Brothers
With locations in both Lafayette and West Lafayette, Nine Irish Brothers is one of the unique places in town. Whether it’s before a Purdue game, going to catch some music, or just sit outside on the patio, Nine Irish Brothers has it all.
Personally, I’m all in on the food there. While they have a great menu to choose from, I always come back to the Shepherd’s Pie. You just can’t go wrong with it. They also have a nice whiskey sour.

The Bird Acres House
Somebody will buy this $1,175,000 and it will not be me. But it could be you!
Okay, this is Bird Acres. It is a historic Italianate estate built in 1880 and once home to naturalist Eliza Dana Weigle. This place has 5 bedrooms AND five bathrooms. It weighs in at 6,546 square feet on nearly two acres. The only down side I’m really seeing is cleaning all of the extra rooms.
The home got a serious expansion in 2013 that somehow doesn't look like it was designed by a completely different person. Check out the fireside family room, updated kitchen, main-level primary suite, and screened porch. But wait, there’s more. See if you can find all four fireplaces, including the one with an Italian marble surround.
It’s decked out with its original hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, an ornate staircase, and a basement workshop over 1,000 square feet. Imagine the side hustle you could run out of that thing.
